Inauguration Ceremony of Koh Norea Bridge

On the afternoon of November 15th, 2023, Prime Minister Hun Manet officially announced the new achievement of the Koh Norea Bridge. The cable-stayed concrete bridge across the BASSAC River connects the Koh Pich and Koh Norea development area with a total length of 824 meters and a total width of 24.5 meters. Koh Norea Bridge is a four-ways bridge with a total cost of more than 38 million US dollars. Construction began on October 26th, 2020 and completed on October 20th, 2023, taken 35 months under construction by CANASINO CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION. This new achievement has contributed to reducing traffic congestion and facilitating the movement of more than 200,000 people in the eastern part of the capital living in the geographical area of Chbar Ampov, National Road 1 and Kien Svay district, as well as reducing traffic congestion on the Monivong Twin Bridge.
